Network 10 cooking show producers rent Richmond warehouse for three years

A production company filming for a Network 10 cooking show, speculated to be Farm to Fork, has leased a 160 square metre space in Melbourne’s inner east Richmond.

Dual Entertainment is paying annual rent of $60,000 for Studio 4, 30 Wangaratta Street.

It has committed for three years.

The Richmond space has been leased for three years at a starting annual rent of $60,000 (or $375 per square metre).

Teska Carson’s Fergus Evans represented the property owner, a local investor.

The agent declined to comment about the tenant.

The space features steel framed windows, polished floorboard and exposed ceilings, which Mr Evans said, creates a boutique New York style studio environment.

A shower, kitchenette and car park is also part of the tenancy.

Metres from the Richmond train station and near Swan Street, the commercial space forms part of a converted warehouse.

“This type of unique work space is often sought but rarely found in Richmond and was well suited to the tenant’s requirements,” Mr Evans said.

This pocket of Richmond is home to several media businesses including Walt Disney Corporation.

Sony Music recently leased this warehouse opposite Richmond train station as its local headquarters.

In April we reported, exclusively, that Sony Music leased a warehouse converted premium-quality office at 5 Stewart Street, Richmond, near the Wangaratta Street space Mr Evans has just leased.
