AVC snares two Queensland hotels
Australian Venue Co has bought two prominent Central Queensland hospitality leaseholds off-market.
In Rockhampton City, the group is taking control of the Bartlett’s Tavern at 166 Kent Street.
On 3161 square metres the property includes a bar, bistro and gaming room with TAB facilities and 40 electronic gambling machines,
There are also two takeaway liquor stores trading under the Liquor Legends brand.
The freehold is owned by a private investor.
Meanwhile at Moranbah in the Bowen Basin, 190 kilometres south-west of Mackay, AVC has snared the Black Nuggett Hotel Motel on 1.7 hectares at 81 Mills Avenue (continues below).
Servicing a local population of nearly 10,000 and a heavy fly-in, fly-out workforce it contains a bistro, beer garden, drive-through and walk-in bottle shops, and a recently expanded 28-room motel.
There is also a gaming room with 40 EGMs.
This asset is held under a corporate lease by the Sentinel Southern Northern Australia Investment Fund which paid $8 million in 2022.
