Melbourne Queen’s Counsel Peter Rattray and wife Mary are selling the 127-year old home, which sits on about 1500 square metres of prime waterfront land overlooking the Dendy Street Beach and CBD.

Developer Citius to Make Capital Gain from Sale of Laverton North Industrial Parcel

Yet another developer is set to turnaround a nifty profit onselling industrial land it recently purchased in Melbourne’s western suburbs.

Local project and development manager Citius will sell a 94.5 hectare block of land in the industrial heartland of Laverton North, in a deal expected to be worth about $70 million – or $75 per square metre.

Jason confirmed his house-hunt ended this week, after finding a 4-bedroom period style home (on an extra large block, for the dogs) in the north-west suburb of Essendon. The off-market deal was rumoured to cost the star recruit around $2 million.

Student Accommodation May Be Oversupplied

COMPETITION from Asian and European universities is weakening demand from international students coming to Australia to study, according to a new report.

As such, Melbourne’s student accommodation market risks oversupply in the medium term, as the number of new accommodation units proposed and under construction, may not be matched by an increase of international students able to take them.
