Pratt Woodend Property to be Sold

Campaspe House, now renowned a multi-award winning hotel, restaurant and convention centre, was purchased by Jeanne Pratt, on behalf of the Pratt Group of Companies, in 1984. The family restored, extended and redecorated the historic 1920s homestead, which sits on 13 hectares of land in the Macedon Spa region, about 75 kilometres north-west of Melbourne.

The Pratt’s sold Campaspe House in 1988, and it was sold again in 2002 to its current owners Milton and Liz Collins, who have operated it as a successful restaurant, function centre and luxury holiday retreat.

The estate also includes a tennis court, swimming pool, guest houses and an established, award winning garden and is split over three titles, giving it some flexibility for redevelopment.

CB Richard Ellis senior negotiator Simon Dal Zotto, who is marketing the property, said he expects Campaspe House to fetch more than $6 million.
