ATO renews at Moonee Ponds

Charter Hall Office REIT has renewed the Australian Tax Office to a workplace near Moonee Ponds Junction.

The 22,000 square metre, seven level building was developed in 1991.

It is walking distance to Puckle Street and the suburb’s train station, about six kilometres north west of Melbourne.

The government’s lease expires in 2013 – it has been extended until February, 2020.

The starting rent (ex-incentives) is speculated at $300 per sqm, per annum (story continues below).

Charter Hall will also upgrade the building and improve its NABERS rating.

The fund’s Weighted Average Lease Expiry is now 4.5 years
