Publishing giant leases uber-green Melbourne office

US based real estate investment giant Hines has filled more of an uber-green office in Melbourne’s inner north east Collingwood.
Publisher Hardie Grant has signed up for 1384 square metres – the 11th floor of the 15 level A-grade tower, T3, at 36-52 Wellington Street.
The group is presently at 658 Church St, within the Cremorne Office & Showroom precinct – near the South Yarra border.
Colliers’ Damian Atkins was the agent.
Hardie Grant is represented by Jacx Property.

Hines paid $28.5 million in early 2019 for the 2120 sqm site which made way for the timber-framed, 18,200 sqm T3 in 2023 (story continues below).
Hardie Grant will join Starbucks which early last year leased 1400 sqm for its local base.
Owned in Australia by the Withers and Barlow families, which recently sold the local 7-Eleven arm for $1.7 billion, the coffee house was the building’s first occupier.
Coincidentally, that business quit 658 Church St, Cremorne, too.
In recent months, Kane Constructions and the SNAICC – National Voice for our Children, have committed.
This pocket of Collingwood is about three kilometres from the CBD.
