Dubbo hotel fetches $8.4m

The Garden Hotel at Dubbo,

Brothers Ryan and Shawn Maas have sold a Dubbo pub and business after more than a decade.

The freehold for The Garden Hotel at 173 Talbragar Street collected $7.735 million while the neighbouring property, a retail investment at #175, added $676,935.

Combined the sites span 3462 square metres.

The leasehold sold for an undisclosed price.

The Garden Hotel

Formerly known as the Great Western Hotel, the Dubbo asset contains a bistro, bar and gaming room with 12 electronic gambling machines and TAB (continues below).

There is also event space and upper-level pub-style accommodation.

Ryan and Shawn Maas, brothers of Wes Maas, managing director and founder of ASX-listed Maas Group Holdings, have operated it since 2014.

The buyer is a local operator registered as Look Mum No Hands Pty Ltd.
