Fund manager snares Perth data centre

Also today we are reporting CIP sold a Canberra ofice/warehouse.

Centuria has bought a 15 year old Perth data centre for the Industrial REIT (CIP).

The two storey facility on 9446 square metres at 16 Mulgul Road, Malaga (Google Street View image, top), set it back $39 million.

Containing 6550 sqm offering 5 megawatts across eight halls, Fujitsu is the occupier.

With 1.5 years left to run on the lease, the tenant has a five year option.

Global Data Centre Group, or GDCG, the seller, paid $37m in mid-2019 (story continues below).

Malaga is about 11 kilometres north of town.

Also today we are reporting Centuria sold a Canberra office/warehouse held eight years by CIP for $28.1m.
