Monash University has leased a 2,174 square metres office at CGA Bryson’s Unipark estate, in Mulgrave.
The school will also rent 106 car parks.
The new development on Wellington Road, near the major Monash Clayton campus and opposite the Australian Synchrotron, contains 20,000 sqm of area.
Just over half is pre-committed, the landlord said – to Canon, Tyco, Healthcare and Snythes Australia.
DTZ’s Ken Smirk and Joshua Tebb with Colliers International’s Rob Joyes and Tim Grant are the agents.
The rent is believed to be about $250 per square metre, per annum, ex-incentives.
Car parks are about $100 per pay, per month.
Earlier this year Insurance Australia Group signed a 7000 sqm rental agreement at Nexus Business Park in Mulgrave.
Reece Plumbing also rented 6000 sqm at Burwood East campus-style Tally Ho.
