Lions midfielder wears loss on Melbourne pad

Josh Dunkley purchased 192 Heath Street in late 2019.

Josh Dunkley has made a loss on a Port Melbourne terrace held four years.

The Brisbane Lions midfielder reaped $1.38 million for 192 Heath Street following an auction last week.

Though the result was near the upper end of the ($1.275-$1.375m) guide, it fell short of the $1.43m the sportsman paid; he was then a Western Bulldog.

With two bedrooms, the renovated c1900 dwelling has been held as an investment, last renting for $700 a week (story continues below).

Marshall White’s Sarah Wood represented Mr Dunkley who was last year recruited by the Brisbane Lions.

The footballer and his girlfriend, netballer, Tippah Dwan, subsequently outlaid $2.265m on a Paddington home in that city.
