LaManna director buys in Malvern

LaManna Banana director Greg LaManna has spent $5.5 million for a house in the street Sir Robert Menzies once dubbed Have a Look Avenue, when he lived there in the 1970s.

With five bedrooms, the Havelock Avenue, Malvern, home includes a spa, pool and tennis court.

Kay & Burton director Gowan Stubbings declined to comment about the property he was marketing, when contacted by The Sunday Age

Mr LaManna’s purchase come 18 months since he spent a rumoured $2.6m for a home in the suburb’s Elizabeth Street – now expected to be listed again.

The banana business was established by Greg’s father, Pat, in 1972.
