Coff picks up two townhouse sites

Coff Property, backed by the Liberman family’s Monark Property Partners, has spent $13.5 million on medium density residential development sites in Melbourne’s inner south.

Each Chomley Street townhouse will have a ground floor and rooftop terrace.

In Prahran, the builder is paying $9m for the ex-Chomley House (or Heritage Care) aged care facility at 113-115 Chomley Street – a 2221 square metre holding.

Seventeen triple storey townhouses are now planned (artist’s impression, top); designed by Cera Stribley.

Measuring between 155-209 sqm, each will contain three bedrooms, ground floor and rooftop terraces and two basement car parks.

Construction is expected to start this year and end by late 2026.

The project’s end value should circle $46m (story continues below).

A medium density residential project is earmarked for 25 Sandham Street.

Elsternwick site

Coff’s Abbotsford project was launched for lease in September.

Meanwhile at Elsternwick, Coff, led by Adam Coff, has paid $4.5m for a cream brick dwelling on 1746 sqm at 25 Sandham St.

Another medium density project is planned – though unlike Prahran, a permit has not been obtained. The end-value should also be less – about $25m.

Last year the developer unveiled plans for an eight level office and retail project with eight car parks at 130 Hoddle St, Abbotsford, near Collingwood Town Hall – now seeking tenants.
