EXCLUSIVE

Actor Guy Pearce has listed his unique Middle Park family home for lease.

The offering – two connected double fronted red brick Edwardians on tree-lined Richardson Street – is asking $3500 per week, or less if a suitor doesn’t want it furnished.

The Richardson Street dwelling is offered fully furnished.

On 748 square metres, it includes four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully fitted study, open plan living and dining and a media room with an open fireplace which could dub as another lounge.

The backyard contains a deck, pond, seating area and large studio.

Jellis Craig’s Zac Karvoun and Matthew Curnow are representing the Geelong-born Pearce who nowadays lives in Amsterdam with partner, Game of Thrones star, Carice van Houten, and six year old son, Monte.

Last March the 55 year old actor sold a Peter McIntyre designed hideaway at 311 Camerons Lane, Beremboke – between Ballarat, Geelong and Melton – for $1.27 million.

On 7.82 hectares and with seven verandahs that result was a modest rise on the $1.2m he paid 10 months earlier (story continues below).

Guy Pearce sold 339 Richardson Street in 2021.

Could have been sextuple fronted

Mr Pearce acquired the Middle Park property in two parts – the first dwelling, 341 Richardson St, set him back $345,000 in 1995 while the neighbouring asset (#343) cost $1.35m nine years later.

The Beremboke getaway sold for $1.27 million last March.

The homes were redesigned, renovated and connected later.

Between 2017 and 2021, when he sold it for $4.2m, the actor controlled another neighbouring double fronted Edwardian (#339), which added 367 sqm to his pile.

That unrenovated residence was also used as a rental, last fetching $850 per week.
