Dustin Fletcher sells East Keilor home
Retired AFL Premiership player Dustin Fletcher has sold an East Keilor duplex for $785,000.
The home, 91A Wyong Street, passed in at auction earlier this month when it carried a price guide of $750,000 – $790,000.
For the first weeks following the campaign launch in March, it was being quoted at between $780,000 – $850,000.
With three bedrooms, the property, constructed last year, has been occupied by Fletcher’s sons, including Mason, who is part of the TAC Cup competition.
The family is looking at buying something else in the area, near Penleigh & Essendon Grammar School – where Dustin spent his senior year in 1992.
In 1993, the defender debuted with the Bombers. The team picked up the Premiership that year, then again in 2000 – when Fletcher won the W.S Chrichton Medal as Essendon’s best and fairest.
The sportsman played 400 games with the team before retiring in 2015, aged 40.
In 2016, Fletcher was one of 34 Essendon footballers found guilty of taking illegal supplements during the 2012 season.

The home was marketed by Nelson Alexander’s David Vaughan and Mark Giardina.
The adjoining unit – known as 91 Wyong Street, Keilor East – is also for sale, with Upside’s Ayman Mohamed.
The address is close to the Centreway retail village, where Australia’s first JB Hi Fi opened in 1974.
