Schneider rents new distribution centre

Salta recently completed building 85 Portlink Drive, Dandenong South.

Schneider Electric Australia will relocate its local distribution centre within Dandenong South.

The multi-product manufacturer has rented 9813 square metres within a warehouse Salta has just completed at Nexus Industrial Estate.

The occupier will move from 3500 sqm facility at nearby 19 Antonella Drive.

Its new base at 85 Portlink Dve includes five container height roller shutter doors and two recessed loading docks. There is also a c7330 sqm marshalling area and 72-bay car park.

This pocket of Dandenong South is about 35 kilometres south east of Melbourne.

In September Australian Timber rented a 6975 sqm facility at 136 Atlas Boulevard, next to the Schneider warehouse (story continues below).

Schneider Electric has leased a distribution centre (marked, red) at Dandenong South.

Other occupiers within the estate include Bunnings, Silk Logistics and Woolworths.

Eighty five Portlink Drive will contain 605 sqm of office area.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Andrew O’Connell and Robert Colaneri with CBRE’s James Jorgensen and David Aiello represented Salta.

Mr O’Connell and Mr Colaneri are seeking a tenant for 19 Antonella Dve.
