Over 50s provider snares permit-ready block

The Inverness site abuts Yeppoon.

Over 50s community provider Lincoln Place has added an Inverness asset to its book.

The 31.25 hectare amalgamation (outlined), set for a 401-lot subdivision.

The 31.25 hectare site, 73 Limestone Creek Road (pictured, top), abutting Yeppoon, came permit-ready for a 401-lot subdivision, the largest endorsed in the pocket.

After paying $14.035 million – the buyer will proceed with this plan adding a clubhouse, heated pool, lawn bowl green, picketball courts, wellness centre and parks.

The dwellings, with two or three bedrooms, will sit on c400 sqm parcels.

Lincoln Place chief executive officer Paul Yeo said the company has been growing its portfolio in Queensland – where some 28 per cent of the population is over 55.

“This includes the $200 million, 350-lot community in Townsville’s Northern Beaches which commences construction later this month,” he added.

“Yeppoon’s new Lincoln Lifestyle over 50s community will be designed as an extension of the existing neighbourhood with…a selection of architecturally designed two and three bedroom floorplans and facades across a range of single-storey homes,” according to the executive.

Yeppoon is about 38 kilometres south west of Rockhampton.
