All these sites fall within a 15-hectare area known as the Joseph Road precinct, which was recently rezoned for high density residential development, and which will play an important part repositioning Footscray as an inner-city hub.
It’s been speculated the Footscray train station, nearby, may be a chief stop for a proposed Airport-to-CBD rail link.
