Harvey Norman snaps up growth corridor sites

Harvey Norman has bought the two blocks marked “for sale”.

Harvey Norman has snapped up neighbouring sites opposite Manor Lakes Central, in Wyndham Vale.

Formerly part of a block known as 2 Hirata Boulevard, the two parcels, now with Ballan Road addresses, are speculated to be costing a combined c$15 million.

A c11,000 square metre outlet is expected.

One boundary would be opposite a proposed Bunnings store.

Harvey Norman has form as a developer – three years ago snapping up a 6.7ha tract abutting Gateway Plaza Leopold, in Geelong.

It is also known to buy product it part occupies including in 2021, the Watergardens Homeplace homemaker centre, also in Melbourne’s west.

Wyndham Vale is 31 kilometres west of town.

CBRE and Colliers brokered the Ballan Rd deals.
