Former North Melbourne and Port Adelaide footballer Jasper Pittard has listed a renovated Victorian terrace, between Fleming Park and Lygon Street, in Brunswick East.

The sportsman, who since retiring in 2020, leads sustainability action group Footy for Climate with ex-Kangaroos teammate Tom Campbell, can expect $1.185-$1.25 million when 9 Sedgman Street goes to auction next month.

Mr Pittard paid $1.023m in 2016 to utilise as a rental; it has fetched over $700 per week.

He is the second ex-AFL player to offer a Melbourne Victorian terrace today joining Liam Shiels, who listed in Hawthorn East for over $1.5m.

Last night, meanwhile, Brent Guerra – who played in two Hawthorn premierships teams with Mr Shiels – sold a Highett family home for $1.23m, well over the ($850,000-$950,000) guide.

Jellis Craig’s Julie Susnjara and Andrew Simondson are marketing 9 Sedgman St (story continues below).

On 153 square metres, 9 Sedgman St contains two bedrooms and an upstairs mezzanine which could dub as another.

It also includes attic storage, split system heating and cooling and off street parking.

Recently renovated, it retains many features from its era – c1910 – like iron lacework, tessellated tile and hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings and fireplaces.
