Country Club, Ron Bakir buy Toowoomba sites

Country Club Living has purchased a Cotswold Hills block (outlined).

Hillscorp Developments has sold two building blocks within its Essence housing estate, at Cotswold Hills, in north west Toowoomba.

In the biggest deal, Ron Bakir’s Homecorp, with its construction arm, Misawa, majority owned by Toyota, has picked up a 24.867 hectare tract (pictured, top), for $7.5 million.

The land has the potential to yield 171 lots.

Another 63 have already been subdivided as part of Essence’s first stage.

In a second deal, Victorian retirement village developer Country Club Living has outlaid $3.6m for a 14.551ha parcel (story continues below).

The transaction is conditional on an approval for a 183-unit village and resident-only nine-hole golf course.

Ray White Special Projects’ Mark Creevey, Tony Williams and Matthew Fritzsche brokered both Gowrie Junction Road sales.
