Broadmeadows Development Site Sells

A disused and remediated service station site, on a 1340 square metre Business 1 zoned block of land in Dallas – the fancy name for north Broadmeadows sold at auction for $999,000, 30 per cent above its reserve.

The site abuts the Dallas Shopping Centre, and is close to the recently extended Broadmeadows Shopping Centre, and the former Kraft factory, which is being developed into a $25 million industrial park.

CBRE sales agent Paul O’Connell who marketed the property said the auction went for a long 45 minutes, and attracted 136 bids. He would not comment on speculation that the owner of the Dallas Shopping Centre, a private investor, was the eventual final bidder.
