Beyonce and Jay-Z reportedly buying c$A113 million Bel Air property

A room in the Bel Air mansion Beyoncé and Jay-Z are rumoured to be buying for $US90 million

Entertainers and new parents, Beyonce and Jay-Z, might have paid $US90 million for a Bel Air mansion if reports published in the LA Times over the weekend prove true.

The singers and actors have reportedly been in the LA market for years. It is speculated they have settled on a home in the town’s Westside.

Any offer would come three years after they applied to buy a Holmby Hills mansion they were renting for $200,000 per month (Holmby Hills is one of the area’s most exclusive suburbs and home to the Playboy Mansion which sold last June for c$A125 million – converted in today’s currencies – with a lifetime-leaseback to Hugh Hefner)

It has also been reported Beyonce and Jay-Z were interested in a showpiece home in the Trousdale neighbourhood which was eventually snapped by Minecraft creator Markus Perrson.

Two other home, including one reportedly previously occupied by James Bond producer Albert Broccoli, also supposedly caught the eyes of the pair.

The LA Times article has a lot more detail, including a photo gallery. The couple, who in June welcomed twins – a boy and a girl named Rumi and Sir Carter – have another daughter, Blue Ivy.

The family’s rumoured new estate includes six structures, four swimming pools, a spa and 15-car garage.
