Producers of TV show The Block are speculated to be buying six of ten new home sites, part of a subdivision being sold down by ex-racing car driver Rusty French.

The Mt Eliza amalgamation at 109 Old Mornington Road, with four lots also facing Jerula Avenue, the others, Daveys Bay Rd, is speculated to be costing $11 million.

The entire lot was listed with in June with an indicative price between $18.5-$20.35m.

Mr French paid $2.8m for the 1.35ha block in 2007.

The Block 2026?

Four of the six blocks marked sold spread between 1004-1089 sqm.

The other two parcels, exposed to Old Mornington Rd, are 1246 sqm and 1435 sqm.

Each was offered permit-ready for large contemporary luxury homes, capturing water views, with pools.

Kay & Burton’s Matt Davis and Matthew Pillios are representing Mr French.

The same agents are also marketing the Porsche enthusiast’s waterfront family home in the suburb.

O’Brien Real Estate’s Stavros Ambatzidis is speculated to be representing The Block producer Julian Cress.

Sources add at least one of the balance sites could be rented for production.
