Yuhu sells Eastwood mall

Yuhu Property Group has sold the Eastwood Shopping Centre for $155 million.

The vendor, a company established by Chinese businessman Xuang Xiangmo, paid $55m in 2013.

Two years ago, Poly Australia made, then withdrew, a c$200-$250m offer.

The buyer this time around is understood to be a local private investor.

Yuhu offered the site permit-ready for a $170m project with 409 dwellings in two towers – earmarked for airspace over the shopping complex – and additional retail (story continues below).

Eastwood is about 17 kilometres north west of Sydney.

More to come.
