Webb Group could create Brunswick supersite
Webb Group could create itself a super-sized development site in Melbourne’s inner north Brunswick
A portfolio of industrial properties on 4184 square metres, with street frontage to Albert Road and Sydney Road, has been listed this month seeking more than $8 million.
This property has prevented a Webb Group asset – a Safeway/Woolworths supermarket and two car parks – from having direct access to the latter, a major retail strip.
Amalgamated, the sites would measure over a hectare, have three street frontages and connect Sydney Road to Brunswick via a pedestrian-only path.
Capital Gain could not contact Webb Group director Les Webb.
CB Richard Ellis’ Walter Occhuito is marketing the Brunswick property; he expects interest from residential, retail and office developers.
The listing comes less than 12 months since receivers sold a 6000sqm site in the suburb, once owned by Tony Mokbel.
Knight Frank achieved $6m for that parcel.
