VicUrban Keeps Point Cook Site, But Puts Officer on the Market
VicUrban – the state government’s sustainable urban development agency – has now announced it will sell three adjoining development sites in central Officer, between Berwick and Pakenham, some 50-kilometres south-east of Melbourne and in the much heralded “fast growing” Casey residential corridor.
The Officer sites, all with street frontage to Cardinia Road, are earmarked to make way for a convention centre or family restaurant, an office building or apartment block, medical or health service building, and a childcare facility.
Combined they are expected to sell for about $2 million.
The sites are highly exposed to high traffic flows since the recent opening of the Pakenham Bypass, and are adjacent to Delfin’s Lakeside at Officer Estate, DTZ marketing agent Richard O’Callaghan said.
