VCAT Orders Permit be Issued for 6-Level Hotel in Carlton

VCAT and the council rejected a $20 million proposal for a seven-level hotel at 110Queensberry Street, on the corner of Little Cardigan Street, opposite RMIT’s main TAFE campus. But with modifications, the project was approved.

The original proposal by CAH Pty Ltd included 86 rooms and a basement car park for 30 cars. This is expected to be revised.

The site is near Grocon’s proposed redevelopment of the Carlton & United Breweries site.
