V8 Supercar Racer Todd Kelly Sells Patterson Lakes Home

The 27-year-old Holden Racing Team driver’s career highlight was winning the Bathurst 1000 in 2005 with Mark Skaife. An Australian Karting champion at 12, Kelly recently came second at races at Sandown and Bathurst driving with his brother, Rick.

In the second half of last year, Kelly had six consecutive top-five finishes.

Kelly moved to Melbourne from Mildura when he was 17.

Baby son Mason arrived two years ago.

The three-storey, fourbedroom townhouse with a berth across the road has a rumpus room, open-plan living and dining area with views across the marina and a double garage (for Holdens only).

The house has a jarrah kitchen, spotted gum floors and cathedral ceilings.

"What I’ll most miss is being able to step out my front door, into the boat and sailing into the bay," Kelly says.

Buxton Real Estate’s Kayne Perry and Wesley Belt are marketing the house, at 3 Southseas Place. They are asking $1.15 million.
