TRUenergy Reviews Melbourne CBD Office Accommodation

Well placed leasing agents expect TRUenergy will stay put at 385 Bourke Street, after dismissing space at 717 Bourke Street in Docklands – the Melbourne headquarters of French fashion university ESMOD.

Last month, the Commonwealth Property Office Fund which owns 385 Bourke Street, obtained a permit to build a 13-level, office tower next door to 385.

The 20,000 square metre proposal would be developed on airspace above the Galleria shopping centre and food court, on the south-west corner of Bourke and Elizabeth streets.

The success of the new office project will depend on CPOF finding a tenant prepared to lease the bulk of office space, before construction commences.

The Commowealth Bank occupies almost half of the 42-level 385 Bourke Street building.
