Thermomix co-founders spend big on Perth block

Thermomix Australia co-founders Witold and Grace Mazur have outlaid $13.3 million for an oceanfront Swanbourne block.

The price for 22 Odern Crescent values each square metre at $15,148 – a state record, according to the agent.

It smashes the previous watermark – $6630 – paid for a 900 sqm plot, 72 Marine Parade, Cottesloe, opposite Andrew and Nicola Forrest’s family home.

“I’m excited to deliver such a strong result for my client,” Space Real Estate director Justin Davies said of his off-market Swanbourne sale.

“While the sale price is an exceptional result, there’s no doubt that it’s rare for such a large, oceanfront block, in such a premium pocket, to become available,” he added (story continues below).

The 878 sqm parcel (Google Street View image, top), containing a modest home which will now be demolished, previously sold in 2016 for $4.5m.

It traded the year earlier for $6.9m.
