Sell off on Brighton’s Esplanade

Less than a week after the Federation Kerrera homestead at 84 The Esplanade sold for a price believed to be “north of $6 million”, another property a few doors away at # 78 – owned by property developer Peter Gillon – has come on the market, asking more than $7 million.

The two homes neighbouring Kerrera – including JB Hi Fi founder Richard Bouris’ near-new mansion at #86, and the historic Dunvegan property at # 88, will also be on the shopping list for Brighton Beach buyers.

One agent joked that with the amount of “for sale” boards going up in Brighton at the moment, the pocket near Holloway Bend beach, may become a wind tunnel.
