Russell Morris to Sell Balwyn Home

The 45-year old goal kicker, who played in Hawthorn’s winning 1986 Grand Final and represented Victoria in the 1987 State of Origin is selling his five-year old, triple story mansion overlooking the Koonung Creek Reserve in Joyce Street North Balwyn.

The home boasts four bedrooms, a study, a large entertainment room, state of the art kitchen, central courtyard, swimming pool and a rear deck overlooking parkland. Morris and family are moving to nearby Kew.

Fletcher’s selling agent Julie Arrowsmith says the house is expected to fetch more than $1.05 million when it goes to auction on Saturday September 22.

Morris’ move follows that of Western Bulldogs recruit Jason Akermanis, who earlier this year moved from a rented property in Balwyn, to a federation home in Essendon.
