Ronen family list prominent ex-Stitches building
The high profile ex-Stitches building in Cremorne, a warehouse converted office more recently occupied by MYOB, has been listed by the Sydney based Ronen family.
Covering 8320 square metres, the irregular shaped block at 167-169 Cremorne Street, is being marketed for its potential to accommodate a precinct-defining project.
Zoned Commercial 2, residential is off the table.
However, with the inner eastern pocket one of the city’s most revered employment zones, offices could be well received, as might a hotel.
The listing is running concurrently with a leasing campaign seeking to fill up to 6200 sqm.
CBRE and Colliers are those agents (story continues below).
JLL’s Josh Rutman, Paul Kempton and Jesse Radisich are the sale brokers; sources speculate the property could fetch over $70 million.
The Ronen family own women’s fashion label Dolina which used to stock through David Jones and Myer.
It acquired the House of Stitches in 2001, later moving production.
The Cremorne St office has been used as an investment – in 2016 securing MYOB, which later moved to a new building across the road developed by Caydon, owned by AXA which paid c$100m on a funds through basis in four years ago.
