Reece buys Melbourne trade centre site

Reece outbid apartment developers for a St Kilda site in 2024.

Reece Australia has snapped up a small site in a Frasers Property Industrial estate.

The 2043 square metre Industrial 3 zoned parcel, 54 Droomer Way, Tarneit, cost $2,193,000 excluding GST.

A plumbing trade centre to service the suburb and Melbourne’s broader west is planned.

The block is fully serviced with a 2.1 metre gate, CCTV and light poles.

AND Property’s Ricardo Cappelletti, Joff Mithen and Ben Quennell were the agents (continues below).

A Reece leased asset at Jamisontown sold last month.

The land is within the Canvas West Estate, on 43 hectares which FPI acquired for $27.5m in 2019 and starting selling down the year later.

The deal comes two years since Reece outlaid $7.15m for a St Kilda Road, St Kilda, site, offered permit-ready for a six level apartment building, also for a showroom.
