Ausbuild buys another Brisbane housing site
Ausbuild, since September majority owned by Japan’s Sekisui, has bought a Logan Reserve housing development site.
The 2.02 hectare property, 1-17 Pelham Street, set it back $8.3 million.
An application was lodged with the Logan City Council in August for a 37-lot subdivision.
The deal comes a year since Ausbuild acquired a Chambers Flat holding with plans for a 141-lot housing estate and a Bridgemans Downs block, for 33 dwellings.
Earlier this year it bought a Joyner site permit-ready for 74 townhouses.
Last month it picked up a Morayfield site for $6m (continues below).
A 29-lot subdivision is planned there.
Colliers’ Adam Rubie and Kristian Brymora marketed 1-17 Pelham St.
Seven offers came in following an invite-only expressions of interest campaign.
Logan City Council recorded 142,553 dwellings across the area at June 2025, with 93,347 required to meet its 2046 dwelling target under ShapingSEQ.
