Ausbuild buys another Brisbane site

Unison’s Highfields estate (outlined) abuts Ausbuild’s site.

Ausbuild has bought its second Brisbane development site in as many months.

The 2.18 hectare parcel, 260 and 280 Ridley Road, Bridgeman Downs (Google Street View image, top), cost $15.29 million.

Permit ready for 33 lots – each priced at $462,333 – the rate per square metre is $758.

The vendor was Keylin which, via Keylin Land Holdings No 20, paid $10.5m from two buyers last year, in April and June.

The 280 Ridley Rd parcel, at the south west corner of Roghan Rd, was the priciest, at $5.5m.

JLL’s Liam Peterson, Jake Borrowes and Harrison Katsanevas brokered the on sale (continues below).

Ausbuild recently bought a Chambers Flat block (outlined).

Bridgeman Downs is about 15 kilometres north of Brisbane’s CBD.

This parcel abuts Unison’s Highfields estate, with some 700 dwellings planned, including 100 townhouses.

In October, Ausbuild bought a 13.9ha Chambers Flat block, about 40km south of town.

A 225-lot subdivision is permitted there.
