Fife Capital buys Midtown Sydney buildings from publican

Kim Maloney has sold 139 Elizabeth Street (left) and 114 Castlereagh St.

Publican Kim Maloney has sold two Sydney CBD offices to asset manager Fife Capital.

The deal, speculated to be worth $48 million, was mooted four months ago.

It includes Bosch Chambers at 114 Castlereagh Street which rises seven storeys and is part leased to St James Hotel and behind that, 139 Elizabeth St, a four level building opposite Hyde Park.

Combined the assets offer 2828 square metres of lettable area including ground floor retail.

They occupy 511 square metres (story continues below).

Each investment is on its own title.

JLL agents James Aroney and Mitch Noonan promoted them for their value-add potential.

Last month Charter Hall paid $510m for the David Jones store in this pocket.

One of the buildings is opposite Hyde Park.
