Page Bros quits Seaford after five decades

The Moorabbin property was for lease in three parts.

Page Bros RV has leased the prominent Moorabbin showroom occupied until 2019 by Melbourne’s Cheapest Cars.

The 2.12 hectare site, 648 South Road, contains four standalone buildings, all up with 5516 square metres.

The street is the Bentleigh suburb border.

Colliers’ James Stott and Gordon Code were the marketing agents; at the south east corner of Bignell Rd, the property was being offered in three parts – on parcels between 4000 sqm to a hectare.

Page Bros relocated last week from Seaford where it traded for over 50 years (story continues below).

Melbourne’s Cheapest Cars, meanwhile, moved elsewhere in the suburb when the Moorabbin site sold for $15.05m.

That retailer occupied 648 South Road since 1982.
