Operators trade Upper Hunter holiday park
The freehold going concern of an Upper Hunter holiday park – in recent years mainly used for worker accommodation to support the local mining industry – has traded between operators.

The Sufi family, which run other NSW venues, has snared the Riverside Cabin & Van Park in Muswellbrook, for a speculated $2 million.
On 1.37 hectares at 10 Mill Street, on the banks of the Hunter River, it contains 38 cabins, rated 3-star, and an amenities block with a laundry.
An upgrade of these components is planned.
An upsize might be too – the land is permitted for 42 dwellings.
The deal also includes an adjoining home on 1764 sqm.
Manenti Quinlan & Associates’ Ray Larkin and Malcolm Mathie represented Blue Heeler Hospitality Pty Ltd.
“Demand for this style of accommodation from both workers and travellers, in the Hunter Valley is extremely strong,” they said.
The deal comes 14 months since the NRMA acquired the the going concern of the Blue Dolphin Holiday Resort, on 5.8ha at Yamba.
Meanwhile Sydney based over 55s accommodation provider Hampshire Villages Australia recently bought two van parks, in Queensland, including Andergrove (pictured, top).
