Gold Coast warehouses sell prior to completion
Two near equal sized office/warehouses – all up offering 3318 square metres – in south east Queensland’s fastest growing residential corridor, sold to an occupier and investor.
Also in Fraser Property Industrial’s Vantage business park and part of the Yatala Enterprise Area (YEA), the Gold Coast’s largest industrial precinct, the standalone properties, 104 and 105 Homestead Drive, Stapylton, fetched a total $9.2 million.
Practical completion is scheduled in four to six months.
Building 104, which is just larger, with 1663.4 sqm, found favour with the occupier.
The second property traded to the investor, which is from interstate.
Both lots spread 2913 sqm,
Colliers’ Nick Evans and David Brisk were the agents.
Stapylton is about 40 kilometres north west of Surfers Paradise, and a little less than that south east of Brisbane’s CBD (story continues below).
Another Yatala Enterprise Area deal
YAE also covers Beenleigh and Upper Coomera.
It includes Ormeau too, where earlier this week US based fund manager and investment house Hines secured Auscool Logistics to an 11,191 sqm cold storage facility on Lahrs Rd, initially offered for lease in two equal sized parts.
Centuria is another major land holder in that suburb – snaring a 9554 sqm Maxwell Cold Storage backed warehouse on 2.1ha – for $43m from ESR in 2020.
Ormeau is five kilometres south of Stapylton.
