The Port Melbourne vacancy included four sheds over 10,000 sqm.

Goodman has leased 45,249 sqm across four sheds at its Port Melbourne Industrial Estate, filling a vacancy left by records storage group Iron Mountain.

Australia Post, the Victorian Electoral Commission and G4P have secured space at 437 Plummer Street, in a campaign that leasing agents described as the suburb’s largest industrial vacancy in 20 years.

The sheds span 10,000-12,000 sqm.

The campaign attracted interest from local and international occupiers before negotiations concluded with the three tenants, Lemon Baxter’s Chris Chatres and Ben Hackworthy, who brokered the deal, said.

The estate spans 437–481 Plummer St, with exposure to Salmon St, with warehouse and office accommodation (continues below).

The four Port Melbourne buildings contain over 45,000 square metres.

Internal clearance heights are up to 11.7 metres with roller-shutter access.

The Port Melbourne estate is less than five kilometres from the city.

The estate is about 4.5 kilometres from Melbourne’s CBD, according to Goodman near CityLink, the West Gate Freeway and the Port of Melbourne.

Iron Mountain’s departure followed the closure of its records-storage facilities at 451, 465 and 477 Plummer St.

Its headquarters is at Logistics Drive, Truganina, where it occupies two properties.
