Minogue Family Reweights Melbourne Property Portfolio

GormanKelly selling agents Ross Thomas and Stephen Gorman confirmed the properties sold before auction, but declined to elaborate on buyer, seller or price.
 
The Minogue family recently sold the fully renovated Beauciel homestead, on 20 hectares in French Island for about $1 million, after reportedly paying $400,000 for the property, and about 70 hectares of land next to it, in 2005. That house is now being remodelled as a French-style resort, and will be marketed as a commercial venture by the new owner.
 
Two years ago, the Minogue family paid about $12.5 million for a Church Street Hawthorn office building which was under construction. The family is also reported to own residential assets in Richmond, Armadale, and Canterbury where as well as the family home, they own six Maling Road apartments.
