Melburnian penthouse sells for $15.4m

A penthouse at the high-end Melburnian complex has sold for $15.4 million.

The price is more than $5m over the guide when it was listed last month.

The 465 square metre dwelling contains four terraces and a cinema.

Eight car parks are also included.

The AFR is reporting an LU Simon director is the buyer.

The vendor was Origin Healthcare founder Bob Biddle, who now lives in Noosa.

The seller is reported to have paid Mirvac about $5m for the dwelling off-the-plan in 2000.

The Melburnian, at 250 St Kilda Road, replaced Prince Henry’s Hospital.
