McMullin purchases Campbellfield industrial site

McMullin Group is the buyer of a Campbellfield site which sold late last year for $8.25 million.

The local developer is planning a mixed-use business park for the 2.66 hectare Industrial 1 zoned site, 27-35 Cooper Street.

BT Transport and Logistics presently occupies.

Jones Real Estate directors Tim Spargo and Paul Jones said the parcel (outlined, top) is one of the last building blocks on the major thoroughfare.

The property is near a Berwick St parcel animal welfare group Lort Smith is redeveloping as a veterinary complex and adoption centre (story continues below).

Last year, Centennial Industrial and Logistics paid $13.3m for a 3.6ha block – partly to replace with new product (another portion, with a building, was recently leased to Scania).

The ex-Pipeworks Market – held for a decade until last year by IKEA – is also earmarked for a business park after recently selling.

Campbellfield is about 16 kilometres north of Melbourne.
