Zeekr leases another Australian showroom

Zeekr launched in Australia four months ago.

Chinese car maker Zeekr has leased another Sydney showroom.

Zeekr leased a Brisbane showroom late last year.

Via an assignment, the group has secured unit 2, 1037-1047 Bourke Street, Waterloo, for an initial seven years.

The area spreads 1204 sqm at the north-west corner of George St.

Elsewhere in Sydney, Zeekr, which launched in Australia in October, has a Parramatta showroom.

In Melbourne meanwhile, the group so far operates at a base with a sister brand (Volvo) at Doncaster.

Two months ago we reported the car marker secured its first Queensland dealership, at Slacks Creek (story continues below).

Tower off the table

Straddling the airport train line, the Bourke St property – about three kilometres south of Sydney’s CBD – forms part of Green Square, a 278 hectares urban renewal precinct.

Eight years ago it was the subject of a residential based mixed use proposal, the first stage of which included a six storey building with 87 apartments over ground floor shops and a basement car park.

Colliers’ Jackson Wray secured Zeekr.
