Lachlan Murdoch buys Bellevue Hill’s Le Manoir

THE eldest son of News Corporation chairman Rupert Murdoch, Lachlan, has paid $23 million for Le Manoir, in Sydney’s east Bellevue Hill.

A closed auction last night resulted in the the six bedroom house on 4,000 sqm selling for well over the $15-$18m guide.

The Australian reports there were nine registered bidders, including actor Russell Crowe.

Lachlan is married to former Australian model Sarah, with whom he has two sons, aged 4 and 3. Another child is on the way
