Interstate syndicate buys Tassie truck dealership, workshop

An interstate syndicate has snapped up a north Hobart truck dealership and service centre.

The Tas Hino yard at 1/94 Grove Road, Glenorchy, is collecting a speculated $5.2 million – a c6.6 per cent yield.

On 8500 square metres zoned Light Industrial, with 34 car parks, the property contains 3448 sqm of improvements, including a modern showroom, ancillary buildings and workshops..

The tenant is on a lease expiring 2028 with a five year option.

Elders’ George Burbury and Cale Ayes were the agents.

The property previously traded in mid-2023 for $3.9m.

Glenorchy is 10 kilometres from town.

Earlier this month, the local government made major changes to the city’s urban growth boundary – amongst the most noteworthy, opening up numerous suburbs east of the CBD.
