Developer plans 35 Port Adelaide office/warehouses

A prominent Port Adelaide industrial site will make way for 35 office/warehouses after selling to a developer off-market.

The 1.4 hectare rectangle site over two titles at 8-18 Santo Parade, also fronting Perkins Drive and Francis Street, traded for about $10 million or $700 per square metre.

McGees Property’s Andrew Wilson was the agent.

The business park is expected to take shape over the next 12 to 24 months “adding much needed industrial supply in a strategic location for small businesses”, according to the executive.

Port Adelaide is about 14 kilometres north west of Adelaide’s CBD.

Late last year we reported a Victorian syndicate paid $9.5m for a Centrelink investment in the suburb on 3527 sqm.

In 2021 meanwhile, an Auckland consortium snapped up a 4.4ha Port Adelaide industrial investment for $17.5m from Quintessential while Centuria seeded a trust with a modern office there (Charter Hall was that seller).
