International college leases Lidcombe office

The Lidcombe office was formerly occupied by the NSW Rural Fire Service.

International business college SP Jain School of Global Management has leased a Lidcombe office for 10 years.

The occupier had to find a facility after the state government acquired its current site for the Parramatta Light Rail project.

The replacement, standalone 6000 square metre building – 15 Carter Street – was once occupied by the NSW Rural Fire Service.

JLL’s Marco Chiodo, David Lidgard and Mitch Whiteley brokered the deal for the Australian arm of Yunnan Metropolitan Construction Investment Group, which is undertaking a mixed-use redevelopment in the precinct (story continues below).

Last June, Dixie Cummins Enterprises rented two warehouse facilities – a total of 18,231 sqm – from the landlord in the pocket.

Lidcombe is about 18 kilometres west of Sydney.
