Influencers Church offload slice of Paradise

The site (marked) was once earmarked for a Kaufland.

Influencers Church has sold a 3.26 hectare block abutting its Paradise house of worship.

The buyer, Yicorp, formerly known as Yihong Property Group, is intending a residential project with apartments and 150 townhouses.

Some 20 dwellings are expected to be allocated for affordable housing.

The property, 57 Darley Road, about 10 kilometres north east of Adelaide, was listed early this year after Germany-based supermarket Kaufland decided not to proceed with buying it for a store.

The Pentecostal denomination has occupied the neighbouring building for more than 40 years; it has five more houses of worship in South Australia and also operates in the United States, at Georgia (story continues below).

It was represented for the Paradise sale by JLL’s Roger Klem and Jed Harley.

Also today we are reporting the Catholic Diocese of Melbourne sold three metropolitan Melbourne townhouse sites, for a total of a speculated c$19m.

Last month, the Monash Methodist Church leased an office/warehouse vacated by the Faith Christian Church at Huntingdale, about 16kms south east of the Victorian capital.
